When starting this business, we wanted to combine our love for an active Central Oregon lifestyle with our passion for skincare, health, and aging gracefully.
Our strong bond, broad healthcare experiences, and aesthetic training make us an incredible team with shared values and talents. We prioritize patient education, safety, and satisfaction. Our goal is to ensure patients thrive and absolutely love their results.
We are detail-oriented and have an in-depth understanding of facial anatomy, which is complimented by artistic skill and vision.

Suzanne Puryear, DNP-FNP, NP-C

Suzanne Puryear is a compassionate, dedicated, detail-oriented, board-certified nurse practitioner with experience in both family medicine and medical aesthetics. Suzanne's nursing career began in 2015 after she graduated with honors from the BSN program at Washington State University. As an RN, she dedicated several years to the inpatient cardiac-transplant team in Spokane, Washington, before pursuing her Doctorate and Family Nurse Practitioner degree. Before discovering her love for medical aesthetics and dermatology, she worked as a primary care provider serving the Redmond, OR, community.
Suzanne is also a talented artist and oil painter, which has always complemented her passion for science and patient care. Her unique combination of skills in the arts and sciences has translated into exceptional results as a medical aesthetics provider.
In 2023, Suzanne and her sister Shannon (RN-BSN) started their medical aesthetic careers. They graduated from Pacific Northwest Aesthetics Academy with certifications in facial assessment, neuromodulator injections, dermal filler, and many other medical-grade skin care interventions. With the support and mentorship of many talented providers, friends, and family, Suzanne and Shannon co-founded Salt Aesthetics in Bend, Oregon.
Shannon Patterson, RN-BSN
Aesthetic Injector | Co-Owner
Shannon is an intelligent and upbeat Registered Nurse who grew up in Bend, Oregon playing sports and enjoying the outdoors.
She started her nursing career after graduating from Washington State University with her BSN in 2019, and immediately began working in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit in Seattle, Washington. After three years in Seattle, Shannon made the move back to Bend to be near family and continue her nursing career outside of the hospital in outpatient infusion, starting in 2022. In 2023, Shannon graduated from Pacific Northwest Aesthetic’s Academy with certifications in facial assessment, dermal fillers, neuromodulator injections, and medical grade skincare.
Shannon’s passion for all things skincare has been lifelong. As someone who has always been affected by troublesome skin (dryness, rosacea, & acne), she has deep understanding of the impact that irritated skin leaves on a person. Shannon’s personal skincare journey and plethora of skills have given her an attention to detail that drives her to deliver the best results as an Aesthetic Nurse Injector. She is a calming and educated provider who truly cares how patients feel when they leave Salt Aesthetics.
